Aileen Socrates Aileen has worked with Quantum Learning Network for over seven years in venues ranging from San Diego to Malaysia. Her first exposure to QLN was through her younger brother, Ryan, who attended SuperCamp in 1996. Upon graduating from Wake Forest, Aileen was offered the Carswell Scholarship, a full scholarship to study law at her undergraduate school. Instead, she opted to pursue a tuition-free Masters of Education at the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana. While completing her graduate studies, Aileen was a volunteer high school teacher, student council moderator, and dance team coach in inner-city Los Angeles. For the past year, Aileen has taught acting to elementary, middle, and high school students at the Malibu Actors Studio, a performing arts academy founded by Mark Burnett, producer/director of "Survivor" and "The Apprentice." |

A native of Hanover, Pennsylvania, Aileen earned a Spanish minor and double major in Communication and Theater at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. During her college tenure, she founded S.O.U.L. ("Sisterhood of Universal Love", a women's alliance that promotes diversity and community service through the performing arts. Among Aileen's most beloved college experiences was a year in Europe, during which she studied Spanish at the University of Salamanca in Spain and was awarded a grant to research social justice in Austria, Lichtenstein, and Italy.
