Quantum Learning for Parents (QLP)

Overview
QL Education introduced Quantum Learning for Parents in 2008 in response to the positive response received from parents who have participated in our SuperCamp and corporate parent programs over the last 15 years.

Similar to these other successful QLN programs, QLP gives parents learning and communication tools to become more effective and involved parents. Course content includes:
  • Strengthening family bonds
  • Building a positive parent-child relationship
  • Supporting each other’s needs through joint problem solving
  • The power of praise: identifying your child’s strengths and celebrating successes
  • The four steps to building a healthy brain
  • How to share the homework experience
  • How to create homework guidelines together
  • Creating a supportive study environment
  • Strategies for becoming an effective role model
  • Effective study skills and strategies for your student
  • How to build rapport with your child’s teacher
  • The 8 Keys of Excellence
Quantum Learning for Parents
Parenting may be the most rewarding and challenging job you will ever have. Children offer us as adults the chance to grow, since through teaching and guiding we continually give of ourselves regardless of return.

Edward Ford and Steven Englund state in their book, For the Love of Children:

“The kind of friendship that raising children can bring is unique in its depth and degree of satisfaction (if also in its difficulty to create.)”

Quantum Learning for Parents gives parents tools that help them offer the guidance and support their children seek.

Sincerely,

QLP programs can be customized to your group’s specific needs, time availability and budget. A program can range from one weekday evening up to a comprehensive two-day weekend session. It can run concurrent to a Quantum Learning for Students program for the QLP parents’ children or it can stand alone. QLP also can be integrated with QLT and QLA professional development programs within a single school or throughout a district.
