A New Chapter
In 2022, long-time team member and 25-year veteran Shari Murphy acquired Quantum Learning following the founders’ retirement. With a deep passion for education and firsthand experience of Quantum Learning’s transformative power, Shari leads a dedicated team committed to continuing - and expanding - the impact of Quantum Learning in schools and in the lives of those who incredibly serve, inspire, and educate our youth.

The History of Quantum Learning
Where It All Began
Quantum Learning was co-founded by Bobbi DePorter, a trailblazer in accelerated learning inspired by her work with Dr. Georgi Lozanov, the pioneer of accelerated learning. What began as innovative adult business learning programs soon expanded in response to parent requests, leading to the launch of SuperCamp in 1982, a groundbreaking youth program blending academic skills, life skills, and the 8 Keys of Excellence. With over 85,000 alumni worldwide, SuperCamp’s success sparked demand from SuperCamp parents to bring it to their schools, giving rise to Quantum Learning for Students and, later, Quantum Learning for Teachers in 1989. This evolution reflects our enduring commitment to creating joyful, effective learning experiences that reach the greatest number of students.
